No online grading system will be used. Students will not receive numerical grades on any assignments they submit, they will instead receive feedback about assignments. Class marks will be given to parents at the mid point and end of every semester, in writing. However, these marks should only be looked at as one small piece of the child’s academic performance. Parents and students should primarily look to the feedback from the teacher, and what the student is demonstrating regarding comprehension, if desirous to know about academic progress. Discussing academic work with a teacher will be a far better gauge of a child’s mastery of a subject than a number or letter.

Students should complete the work assigned for the 3 days at home each week. If a student is unable to complete the work for the 3 days, generally, the assignments will be reviewed in class and then either re-assigned, or they will be skipped and the next week's assignments will be reviewed and assigned. All students are responsible for bringing back the required texts/workbooks each week, when applicable. All texts and workbooks will stay at Libertas on Wednesday nights since no homework will be assigned that night and this will reduce the chances for books to be forgotten.

Students are not permitted to have any electronic devices at Libertas. Please leave them in your car, or with a parent. There is a community phone that parents may use to call their children, and that is available for student use.
